For a change we've actually played plenty of matches as a team since last weeks blog, but unfortunately for anyone interested most of them have been for Newegg, which doesn't have any kind of HLTV whatsoever, so only way to see any matches is via POV demos. So far we've beaten “fasekat” 16-1, “Apathy” 16-3, crack clan.ca 16-8, MoB 16-8 and “rvp” 16-2. Right now we're in the upper bracket finals waiting for the other side of the bracket (http://bit.ly/p3McY) to be played out, and will most likely have the tournament finished by Thursday. We will try to get some POV demos out later but so far other then Danny's 30/2 game vs “rvp” where he forgot to record, there hasn't  been much demo worthy action. We also managed to beat “CC+” 2-0 for ESL EM (Danny's POV demos are available here on our site) and are trying to schedule our last group stage match vs “theCOOLkids” for this week in order to get more practice; should that happen you will find HLTV and scorebot information here on our site as well.

This past weekend was my first Halloween in the States and I got to say I really like it how big of a deal it is here, had plenty of fun both nights, met a lot of new people and even bailed Kevin out of jail, haha (got pulled over with unpaid speeding ticket, nothing too serious). Due to me not having planned for this whatsoever, me and Kevin went to Halloween Express with Ron on Friday just barely an hour before going out to pick up some kind of costumes, but I think my doctor look wasn't too bad, but next year I will definitely put in some more work in advance. Yesterday we once again had a lot of friends over to watch the Cowboys game, although it felt like half the people migrated over to our game room to watch me and Danny play MoB and “rvp”.

That's all for now I guess, this week we'll try to go over all the remaining maps including Mill and Lite in order to be ready for ESEA finals next weekend, and then on the following Monday we're off to Chengdu, China for WCG on 11-15th.

Cheers,

Tomi

For those who care, you can actually see stats for all the Newegg matches by clicking the match on the bracket. The earlier bracket for first couple of matches is at http://bit.ly/3lnjfP. We beat Phrenetik 16-6 in the WB final yesterday and will play the winner of PK/RVP/Sway in the grand final on most likely Thursday, and hopefully we can get some demos up then as well.

My POV from 2nd map of final @ http://bit.ly/1hcZHo, we managed to win second map after losing first due to horrible play on our part, but in the end it's all good :P.

Halloween isn't necessarily celebrated differently, it's just not NEARLY as big as in the States.
